Air QualityHaving quality air
flow throughout the home is a significantly under-appreciated attribute of a house.
Not only do a lot of people suffer with poor air distribution in their home,
but the quality of the air itself is often a cause for concern. If the air
smells, tastes, or looks thick or funny for any reason, immediately call us.
Think about it, air is not something that you should consciously think about on a daily basis. If you notice something strange about the chemical that you breathe into your lungs, hundreds of thousands of times per day, odds are, there is something quite wrong. Typically, people associate air quality with an outside concept like pollution and smog. However, the air inside a building is often more polluted than the air outside. It can be affected by formaldehyde, lead, or chemicals from a household fragrance. The last thing we want is for your home to look like the Industrial district of Beijing. A few different ways to improve the basic air quality in your house include mopping frequently and vacuuming. Start by vacuuming the carpets in your house on a bi-weekly basis. We know vacuuming is about as fun as being chained to a bee’s nest for two days straight, but it will drastically reduce the amount of irritants in your home. Once you vacuumed, grab the mop and go to town on the hardwood floors. Irritants often gather on the hardwood, so mopping with soap and water will help reduce them dramatically. Lastly, put mats down in the front of your home to remove the chemicals that you gather on the bottom of your shoes on a daily basis. When all else fails, call the experts at Deluxe Home Comfort and we will gladly treat your house as if it were our own! CALL US TODAY at 919-772-3859!
We look forward to exceeding all your expectations. |
